Red cards in Champions League finals: Lehmann, Drogba, Cuadrado

Champions League finals tend to be tense affairs. The margin for error is slim and one lapse in concentration can result in broken hearts, shattered dreams and nightmare-inducing memories. You can make yourself a hero or become a villain in the blink of an eye.

And three players in the history of the European Cup have possibly felt that way after playing in a final. Since the start of the competition, just Jens Lehmann, Didier Drogba and Juan Cuadrado have been shown red in the final and all of their sides lost with Arsenal falling to Barcelona in 2006, Chelsea being trumped by United in 2008 and Juventus losing to Real Madrid in 2017.
