Update:
Hierro: new Spain coach

The Spanish FA have announced that Fernando Hierro will take over as Spain coach for the World Cup in Russia. The move came after FA president Luis Rubiales fired existing coach Julen Lopetegui at a press conference earlier today, after the coach had agreed to take over at Real Madrid after the World Cup.

Hierro spoke to the press this afternoon after accepting the job.

The new Spain coach gave a press conference this afternoon, where he said he'd do as little as possible to change the team and that he was optimistic for Spain's chances at the World Cup.
