Sadio Mané: "Madrid? I'm very happy at Liverpool"
The Senegalese forward says he hopes to see out the remaining three years on his contract at Anfield. Also today, Salah posed in the new Liverpool kit.
Sadio Mané answered questions concerning his future in an interview with Austrian daily Salzburger Nachrichten. When quizzed on possible interest from Real Madrid, the Liverpool replied that he has no thoughts of moving away from Merseyside: "I'm very happy in Liverpool and I have another three years left on my contract. As as I say, I'm happy at Anfield but you never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League".
Mané has more pressing matters on his mind right now, starting with Senegal's World Cup campaign which gets underway next Tuesday against Poland. "Now's the moment to focus on putting in a good and successful World Cup with Senegal. That is what I am totally focused on. I don't feel any pressure. To be honest, I am very happy to be playing this tournament together with my team. Nor do I see myself as a superstar, just one part of a team which wants to do well at this World Cup", he added.
Mané's strike partner Mohamed Salah will also be continuing at Liverpool next season. The Egyptian is the face behind Liverpool's 'This Means More' campaign with the launch of the new kits for the 2018/19 season.
