Update:

Just a few hours before his World Cup gets underway against Switzerland, Neymar has addressed Brazil fans on social media, saying he is not afraid "to dream big", and that they can be sure that he will try to help the team win their 10th title in Russia.

"I do not know what the end will be, but rest assured that we are looking to make the country happy, the dream is ours and I do not have any fear of dreaming big. Come on Brazil, heading for the 10th," said the PSG man on Twitter.

Neymar, who has recently returned from a foot injury that had kept him out for three months, will be expected to start in the match against Switzerland at the Rostov Arena.

"I have had many difficulties and I feel blessed to get here, I am very happy to be not only beside great professionals, but also great people," said Neymar, whose World Cup in Brazil four years ago was cut short by a fractured vertebra.

He also commented that it is "an honor to defend" the country and "go in search of a great dream". It has been 16 years since Brazil last lifted the World Cup.
