James: "I want to win the Champions League with Bayern at all costs"
James Rodríguez has ruled out a return to Real Madrid and says he is only thinking about Bayern Munich.
Having recently arrived in Miami for Bayern Munich’s preseason games in the International Champions Cup, Real Madrid loanee James Rodriguez has spoken about his future and ruled out the possibility of a return to the Bernabeu.
“We have a homogeneous team, and with that everything is possible. I want to win the Champions League with Bayern at all costs. There are a lot rumours, but I am happy in Munich. I’m only thinking about Bayern,” said the Colombian striker.
“When I look back at my first year, I feel very satisfied. But I want to win more titles this year, and also to be a great help to the team.”
The German club has also promoted the first meeting of James with new coach, Niko Kovac, on their social media, publishing an image of the pair happily sharing an embrace. Last week Kovac stated that he was counting on the Colombian striker for next season and confirmed he would stay in Germany.
