Simeone: "Until 23:59 tonight, you have to have your antenna turned on"
Diego Simeone spoke before his side's clash against Celta Vigo and said that he sees Griezmann as happy and excited as he weighed up the Champions League group.
Diego Simeone says you have to remain tuned in until the transfer market closes on Friday night at 23:59.
"Until the end this is football, until 23:59 tonight, you have to have your antenna turned on. As for the squad, we will do what we have to for the team," he said at the press conference before Celta Vigo.
Speaking about the Champions League, Simeone said "it's a balanced group, with important teams and we have the experience from previous years. You have to pay a lot of attention and understand that every game is a final. We come up against opponents in a very balanced situation."
"I won't be going that far," he said when asked about the Champions League final at the Wanda. "The road is long, if we can observe, look and advance in what we have to do and just think about the first game against Monaco."
He also says that he sees Griezmann as "happy and excited" after chosing to stay at Atlético and won the World Cup this summer.
