Real Madrid keeping eye on new pearl of Argentinean football
He has been called the 'Argentinean Hazard'. Winger Matias Vargas is of interest to several of Europe's biggest clubs, and the race could be on to sign him in the January transfer window.
His name is Matias Vargas. He’s 21 years old and he is quickly becoming the jewel of Argentinean football. He plays on the left wing for Vélez Sarsfield, and made his debut with the national team in September.
According to sports Radio station, TalkSPORT, he has already entered the agendas of Juventus, PSG, Bayern Munich and Liverpool. And now the latest club to take note is Real Madrid, whose scouts have been at recent games and are impressed by his style of play, which is becoming a new reference for offensive football in Argentina.
Reports on the player have been more than positive and Real Madrid are not ruling out the option of signing him. The money would be not be an issue for Florentino Perez and Vargas is excited about the possibility of making the leap to Europe.
