Valverde places faith in Chumi, Malcom and Denis Suárez
In the absence of Leo Messi, Thomas Vermaelen, Samuel Umtiti, Carles Aleñá and Sergi Samper Ernesto Valverde has named a 19-man squad for Real Madrid.
Ernesto Valverde has called up a 19-player squad for the Clásico against Real Madrid at Camp Nou on Sunday and has included youth teamer Chumi again to cover for defensive shortages while also calling up Malcom and Denis Suárez.
The Barcelona boss will have to contend without star player Leo Messi, who suffered a broken arm in last weekend’s victory over Sevilla, with Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen also on the sidelines.
Youngsters Carles Aleñá and Sergi Samper also miss out on the squad, which Valverde will have to whittle down to 18 players before the match.
