Former Barcelona youth player Marc Crosas, who is now working for Mexican television as an analyst took to his Twitter account following the 5-1 El Clascio win for Barça at Camp Nou. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez bore the brunt of his ire as the player slammed the way he hired former Spain coach Lopetegui and for his poor handling of the current Real Madrid squad.

"Does Florentino have a clear conscience? In 4 months he's managed to destroy the Spanish national team and the best Real Madrid side we've seen in recent history". He added: "If you're going to die at Camp Nou, do it with a performance like the second half. Sad Lopetegui. Solid and lethal Barça despite no Messi but a huge display from both Suárez and Jordi Alba".

The former Celtic player didn't stop there and his next tweet was a swipe at Luis Enrique stating: "Nacho starts with the Spanish national team with Jordi Alba now watching these games from his home, something that even Lopetegui would fail to understand".
