Last week the shocking story of the Brazilian's death made headlines around the world. His body was found with his genitals mutilated, and almost beheaded. The attack happened following a party at the home of the suspected murderer, Brittes, who says he committed the act after finding the player attempting to rape his wife, Cristiana, at their daughter Allana's 18th birthday celebrations. Now the messages have been circulated along with a photo of the player lying with an apparently unconscious women, later identified as Cristiana.
"I'm going to devour the mother of the birthday girl," wrote the player to a friend, "and the father [of Allana] is here."
The as-yet-unidentified friend replied: "Is he asleep?" and says he'll get thrown out of the house.
Correa then sent a photograph of himself in bed with Brittes' wife, who appeared asleep, to which his friend warned him about the potential danger of his actions saying, "the guy is going to come and beat you up."
The police investigation is ongoing.
