The final stage ended on Wednesday night, and all tickets were sold in just a few hours, the club confirmed. Some fans who went to collect their tickets from the Monumental booking office in Buenos Aires reported of gangs lying in wait to jump supporters and steal their tickets. Others complained that the web page for buying tickets kept collapsing due to the demand. The most expensive tickets cost 3.200 pesos (78 euros) and the club is expecting record receipts of close to 100 million pesos (2.3 million euros). Ahead of the first leg, Boca Juniors experienced problems with ticket sales to their season ticket holders, many of whom were left without tickets and some protested at the Bombonera gates in the run-up to the match.
