Solari picks his Roman soldiers
The Real Madrid manager knows that there is a lot at stake as the 20 squad members head to Rome to show their Champions League credentials.
Santiago Solari has selected his Real Madrid squad for their trip to Italy for the Champions League game against Roma. The pressure is very much on for the game that kicks off on Tuesday 27 November at 21:00
Madrid's Roman test
The 20 players chosen are made up of the 19 available from the first team squad plus youth player Javi Sánchez, a regular since Madrid's defence has been hit with injuries.
From the 20 players who were on the end of a humiliation at the hands of Eibar on Saturday, Odriozola is the only one to drop out, after picking up a knock. Mariano comes in.
The team will also be without Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Reguilón, Casemiro and Keylor Navas for the game in the Italian capital.
