The absences of Sergio Ramos, who is one yellow card away from suspension, and Dani Ceballos together with the return of Marcelo and Toni Kroos were the most notable changes in Santiago Solari's squad list for this evening's Champions League meeting with CSKA Moscow. Marcelo and Kroos missed the team's last three games (Valencia, Melilla and Huesca) due to injury.

Also in the list is reserve team centre-back Javi Sánchez, who has been included in some of Solari's recent lists. The Argentine coach has called 19 players but one will be dropped from the list (one of the three goalkeepers) to leave a definitive list of 18 in the hours leading up to the match.

Real Madrid's squad list for the CSKA game

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Casilla and Courtois.
Defenders: Carvajal, Vallejo, Varane, Marcelo, Odriozola and Javi Sánchez.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Fede Valverde, Marcos Llorente, Asensio and Isco.
Forwards: Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez and Vinicius.
