Bayern '20 is plenty' banner receives plaudits from Anfield
"Greed knows no limits, twenty is plenty" was the wording on the banner unfurled by the Bayern Munich fans during the Champions League tie at Anfield.
The fans of the Bundesliga side complained about the high price of watching games in European competition stating that they were charged 48 pounds sterling for the game in England with Liverpool fans set to be charged 55 euro for the return leg in Bavaria. The're proposal of 'Twenty's plenty' ties in with a campaign ongoing by fans (the FSF) in England for top flight sides to fix a standard away ticket price of twenty pounds.
Ahead of the game, fans from both clubs joined together in a round of mutual applause with many pointing to the fact that tickets for the other Champions League Round of 16 game between German side Schalke 04 and Manchester City being available for 20 euro.
