Messi set to play against Venezuela but not Morocco
Argentine outlet T&C Sports report that the Barcelona striker will play at the Wanda Metropolitano but won't travel to Tanger.
Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni is set to confirm his squad on Thursday for the "Albicelestes" forthcoming friendly games against Venezuela in Madrid on March 22 and Morocco four days later.
According to TyC Sports, Lionel Messi will be called up but will only play in the game in Madrid and not travel to Morocco.
Scaloni is anxious that the No.10 rejoins the squad with these being the last friendly games ahead of the 2019 Copa America which starts in Brazil in June despite his club facing some key games in the Champions League and the player complaining of groin problems in recent weeks.
