Spanish journalist Guillem Balague spoke to Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski last week for BBC Radio 5's Football Daily show, and at the end of a long and interesting discussion on the footballer's career asked him about his future and whether it was true Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo has previously asked him to come to Real Madrid...

How about your future? You've been linked to clubs outside the Bundesliga. You've done everything in the Bundesliga. Is there another dream?

If you're playing at one of the best clubs in Europe, in the world, you know you can be happy. And I'm happy being at Bayern Munich. Because what we have here is high level. And if you play here it's simple - you have to be focused on your game, give the fans what they want and what the team needs.

That means that Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos have not convinced you to go to Real Madrid? Because I believe that two or three years ago they went to you and said "Come here! You have to play for us!" Did they?

Yeah, but you know, if you play at the high level, everyone says "He can move there or there or there", but it's not important for me. Because I know the feeling, and I know after what everyone has said, so many teams want you, but the most important thing is what I want. And what I decide. So this time I'm not thinking about another move in my career.
