Tagliafico's representatives in contact with Barcelona
People close to the Argentine left-back have been on contact with Barcelona to see if they are interested in signing the player, who has been a stand-out for Ajax this season.
Ajax's left-back, Nicolás Tagliafico, is one of the names mentioned as a possible Barcelona recruit in the summer. According to BeSoccer, there has already been contact from between the player's representatives and the club as they gauge interest of a possible move. The publication also says, however, that it is not a high-priority signing.
The Argentine has been key to an excellent season for the Dutch side. They are one of the eight sides left in the Champions League and Tagliafico has scored five goals with five assists during the campaign. He was also key in the victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabéu and that is part of the reason why Barcelona are interested and it's why los Blancos have also been linked. His agent, Ricardo Schliper denied any contact with Madrid though: "They say Tagliafico is on Madrid's list because Marcelo will go to Juventus but nobody has called me yet."
It would be Barcelona's second signing from Ajax if it happens with Frenkie de Jong already signed up for next season. He already knows the league having played with Murcia in 2012-13 and the price would be in the region of €20 million.
