International Champions Cup 2019 preview
The summer's premier football tournament, the International Champions Cup, is set to announce the fixture list for this year's 2019 competition on Wednesday 27 March at 15:00 CET. We'll find out who is playing who from the 12 teams in the competition: Tottenham Hotspur, Atlético Madrid, Inter Milan, Juventus, AC Milan, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Benfica, Roma, Chivas de Guadalajara and Real Madrid.
This is the seventh edition of the competition and will be played in the following cities and zones, as revealed by the tournament organisers before today's fixture reveal: Los Angeles, Houston, Cardiff, Boston, Bay Area, Tri State Area, Arlington, Chicago, Washington DC, Shanghai, Kansas City, Charlotte, London, Singapore, Stockholm.
In total four matches this summer will be played in Asia, with a return to China for the first time since 2017 and Singapore hosting the tournament for the third year in a row.
Tottenham Hotspur won the tournament last year, beating Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan on goal difference. This year the winner will be the team who performs best over their three competitive matches, with each team playing three matches.
