PSG looking to freshen up midfield

With Adrien Rabiot set to leave at the end of the season having spent most of 2018-19 out of the picture, PSG need to strengthen in midfield and have also made inquiries about Ander Herrera. According to reports in Portugal, the Parisian club’s representatives have already sounded out Florentino’s agent, Bruno Carvalho, about the possibility of a summer move.

Florentino has been capped at every level up to under-20 by Portugal and has broken into the first team at Benfica under Bruno Lage, who took over as caretaker in January following the departure of Rui Vitória. Widely regarded as a future star, PSG are keen to tie up a deal for Florentino as quickly as possible with several other clubs also keeping an eye on the youngster’s progress.
