Messi thanks Barça fans after Getafe goal voted best of all time
More than half a million votes were cast on the online poll run by FC Barcelona and Messi's Maradona-esque slalom through the Getafe defence in 2006-07 won.

FC Barcelona ran an online poll for fans to vote on the club's greatest goal in history and Leo Messi's solo effort against Getafe in the 2006-07 season won by a comfortable margin.
The goal in a 5-2 victory emulated Diego Maradona's in the 1986 World Cup against England and was responsible for catapulting Messi to international fame.
The Barcelona captain recorded a video to thank fans for "putting a little more of me in the history of the club."
