NBA Centel returns to X after temporary ban
The NBA parody account was temporarily suspended on Wednesday, causing an uproar amongst its fans, but it made a triumphant return in under 24 hours.

A popular NBA parody account, NBA Centel, had its posts mysteriously disappear on Wednesday, and people noticed. While its fans were left wondering why and mourning the loss, it didn’t take long for the spoof account to make its epic return.

NBA Centel back on X
Less than 24 hours later, the NBA Centel account was back up and running. The above video, in which the account responded to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith’s “RIP” message, had 300,000 likes within hours of its posting.
The account, which parodies the legitimate NBA Central account, has fooled many a people into believing its news is real. The posts, although fake, are often plausible, easily duping even the most seasoned of journalists. Just a few days before X removed NBA Centel’s posts, Colin Cowherd went viral for mentioning a “story” he heard about the Dallas Mavericks banning Luka Doncic jerseys at their stadium. That story was not true, and was originally posted by NBA Centel.
“I saw a story where they won’t let Luka jerseys in the building in Dallas.”

It’s still unclear why exactly the account received the temporary ban, but there was speculation that it was due to the impact of its pranks or potentially violating a moderation policy. Whatever the reason, it seems to be resolved as NBA Centel has returned from the ashes.
WE ARE BAAAAACK 🔥🔥🔥🔥
