Los Angeles FC have entered Major League Soccer history by claiming six victories in seven games. They sit third in the list of the best starts to an MLS season, behind LA Galaxy in 1996 and Sporting KC in 2012, who both had 100% records after seven matches.

Bob Bradley's side are dominating the American league by defeating any team they have in front of them, and after seven weeks have a total of 21 goals for and five goals against.

A key part of LAFC's excellent start to the 2019 season is the superb form of their captain, former Real Sociedad striker Carlos Vela, who has either scored or set up goals in every game. The Mexican is currently the tournament's leading marksman and supplier of assists, with eight each.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's team, the LA Galaxy, reached the MLS final in their first tournament but lost against DC United in overtime. Kansas City won the Supporters' Shield cup but were knocked out of the fight for the MLS Cup in the Conference finals.

How was it for other teams with the same streak? (6-0-1)

Los Angeles FC have equalled the starts posted by LA Galaxy in 1998, Kansas City Wizards in 2000, New England Revolution in 2005 and LA Galaxy in 2010.

In 1998, LA Galaxy managed to set the record for the most points in a season, a mark that was surpassed by Atlanta United 20 years later.

New England Revolution reached the MLS final but lost against LA Galaxy, and in 2010 LA were defeated by Dallas in the Conference finals.

Kansas City Wizards are the only team that after a 6-0-1 start managed to win the MLS Cup (1-0), beating Chicago Fire on 15 October at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium.
