And then there were two... the Seattle Sounders and Houston Dynamo are the only two teams left unbeaten in the MLS after the loss of Los Angeles FC.

Bob Bradley's side suffered their first defeat of the season when they visited the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place, in a game where both coaches made radical changes to their starting line-ups with one eye on the weekend fixtures.

Los Angeles FC made three changes in defence with Peter-Lee Vassell, Niko Hamalainen and Shaft Brewer all handed their first MLS starts.

The Whitecaps scored the only goal of the game on the 27th minute, and managed to defend their lead for the rest of what was a bitty match which never really got out of first gear.

Despite the defeat, Los Angeles FC remain top of the Supporters' Shield standings with a 6 wins, one draw and one defeat, although having played one more game than the rest of the teams in MLS.
