Arturo Vidal: a serial winner of league titles
If the Chilean midfielder wins the title with Barça, it will be his eighth in a row: four with Juventus, three at Bayern and now, most probably, one with Barcelona.
Arturo Vidal is a whisker away from more glory at club level. In addition to winning two Copa Américas with Chile, most notably to deny Leo Messi any international silverware, the midfielder has become a serial winner of league titles.
Juventus and Bayern
Vidal signed for Juventus in 2011 from Bayer Leverkusen and went on to win four Scudettos in four seasons in Italy. In the summer of 2015, he moved to the Bundesliga, playing for the German giants Bayern Munich under Pep Guardiola. In his three campaigns in Bavaria, he also notched up three league titles.
Barcelona
In 2018 Vidal joined Barcelona to fill Paulinho's boots and now, in keeping with the previous seven years, he is on the brink of sealing his eighth straight league title, particularly if Barcelona beat Levante at the Camp Nou on Saturday evening. In football, Vidal's unfinished business remains in the Champions League - the closest he has come was as a losing finalist when Juventus were pipped to the post by his current side in 2015.
