Barcelona - Liverpool referee confirmed as Björn Kuipers
UEFA have confirmed that the Dutch referee will oversee the Champions League semi-final (first leg) at Camp Nou as Liverpool visit the Catalan capital.
Björn Kuipers will oversee the Camp Nou semi-final on Wednesday as Barcelona welcome Liverpool to the Catalan capital. The Dutch official has not overseen a Barça game since the 2016-17 season when Juventus eliminated the 'azul-grana' outfit from the competition in Turin.

Kuipers last match in charge of Liverpool was a Champions League play-off game in the 2017-18 season with the English side overcoming Bundesliga side Hoffenheim (1-2).
Kuipers will be assisted by compatriots Mario Diks and Erwin Zeinstra on each line with VAR duty going to Danny Makkelie and Pol van Boekel as the fourth official at Camp Nou on Wednesday.
