Quick witted Alexander-Arnold corner sets up Liverpool winner
Divock Origi bagged Liverpool's fourth and decisive goal at Anfield as part of an epic Champions League comeback after quick thinking by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Liverpool bagged their fourth goal of the night as part of an epic Champions League comeback against FC Barcelona. The Catalan giants came into the game on the back of a 3-0 win over Klopp's men from the Camp Nou first leg.
Liverpool's task was made even harder following the news that strikers Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah would play no role in the second leg with few giving the Premier League side a chance of turning the tie around.
After bagging three goals to draw the tie level, the Reds won a corner in the 79th minute. As another ball rolled from the pitch, quick witted 20-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold deftly lofted the ball already by the corner flag into the box with Barcelona not expecting the quick delivery. The assist was perfect for Belgian Divock Origi who found himself in space and slotted past the unsuspecting Marc Andre Ter Stegen busy organising his defence.
