Real Madrid: Sergio Ramos considering leaving - report
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is mulling over a summer departure from the Bernabéu after 14 years at the club, El Chiringuito has claimed.
Sergio Ramos is seriously considering leaving Real Madrid in the wake of the LaLiga club's poor season, a report on Spanish television has claimed.
The programme El Chiringuito says Ramos is weighing up accepting one of the many offers that he has from other clubs, and moving to pastures new.
2018/19 saw Madrid fail to win a major trophy for the first time in four years, as Los Blancos finished third in LaLiga, were knocked out of the Copa del Rey semi-finals by Barcelona, and were dumped out of the Champions League by Ajax.
Pérez row a major catalyst behind Ramos exit thoughts
A major catalyst for the captain's doubts about his future at the Santiago Bernabéu is said to be his furious dressing-room argument with Madrid president Florentino Pérez during March's last-16 exit from Europe's premier club competition.
Defender Ramos, 33, has made 606 appearances for Real Madrid since joining from Sevilla in summer 2005, scoring a total of 84 goals.
