The former Real Madrid goalkeeper, who suffered a heart attack on 1 May, was in the crowd for the match and was left in tears when Soares went to the bench after scoring in the 41st minute to get Casillas' shirt which he held up to the crowd before it was passed among the players in tribute to the goalie.

Casillas, who turned 38 this week, is unable to play football at the moment due to the heart attack and his future as a professional footballer is still up in the air, though he recently said he would let everybody know when he took the decision to retire.
