REAL MADRID

Napoli ask about Llorente, Ceballos and Theo Hernández

De Laurentiis wants to be in pole position as Real Madrid get rid of dead weight in their squad this summer with as many as 14 players set to leave the club.

Real Madrid are planning on losing 14 footballers this summer and Napoli are attentive to those on the way out. The Serie A side have called the offices in Chamartín and asked about James Rodriguez most recently but have their eye on the exit door at the Bernabéu.

They have also enquired over the availability of Marcos Llorente, Dani Ceballos and Theo Hernández. They are three players sure to leave with Zidane not counting on them in his first spell or the small sample size we have in his second spell.

Madrid have the final say, of course, but Napoli want to know what conditions they would accept to let the trio leave for Italy. Real Madrid have also put Nacho's name on the table after the 29-year-old went through one of his most difficult seasons at the club.

Napoli have carried out a similar strategy before

Ancelotti wants to have a look at the players that might be available with Real Madrid looking to clean house during the summer. It's not the first time Napoli have used this strategy when Real Madrid were looking to get rid of players. They signed Callejón, Albiol and the big signing, Higuaín when los Blancos were shopping players.

They are also interested in Llorente, who is wanted in the Premier League (Arsenal mostly) and Theo, who is receiving interest from the Bundesliga. His own agent confirmed that "it's real, Napoli like him" recently.
