Ego aside, Zlatan wants to forget his dazzling bicycle goal
The LA Galaxy captain wants to forget the outstanding goal he displayed against New England Revolution since his team lost the game, despite being one for the books.
Throughout his career, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has accustomed us to scoring great goals. Now with LA Galaxy, the Swedish striker has continued his faithful way as it happened on Sunday when 'Ibra' made a spectacular goal in Galaxy's defeat against New England Revolution. Due to this, Zlatan said he would soon forget what could be one of the goals of the year in the MLS.
Minutes before to the end of the match against the Revs, Ibrahimovic received the ball with his chest to then make a bicycle which goalie Brad Knighton couldn't stop. However, Zlatan's goal didn't do much for those led by Barros Schelotto as they fell 1-2 against Bruce Arena's side.
Despite dazzling everyone with his goal, Ibrahimovic mentioned he'll soon forget his goal since the team still lost, keeping them in second place of the Western Conference, "I need to forget it as soon as possible even though it could be the goal of the year, this is one I'll forget very soon."
Zlatan mentioned Galaxy's irregularity as they sum three consecutive losses at home, preventing them from closing space with LAFC that sits atop of the Conference; "maybe this is who we are, to be realistic, we have ups and downs, and reality will catch you sooner or later. So we just have to do our best and fight for it."
