Barcelona is close to returning to US soil, amid confirmation from the club, the Spanish league champions, would have a short stay in the United States next August to play a couple of friendlies as preseason ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Barcelona mini-tour in the States would be a few days before the start of LaLiga season which will start in the 17-18 August weekend, between Augusto 10th to 13th. The tour would count with stars such as Luis Suárez, Philippe Coutinho, Arturo Vidal, and Lionel Messi who will join once Copa América ends.

The main reason behind the probable FC Barcelona tour in the United States is due to the move of dates for the Spanish Super Cup against Valencia, which was set in August but will take place until January 2020.

The Blaugrana's preseason will start on July 23 at Saitama Stadium in Tokyo Japan against Chelsea to four days later faced Vissel Kobe, team where former Culé stars Andrés Iniesta and David Villa play.

Barcelona lately destination

The United States has been a regular stop for the Blaugrana in recent years, and this will be its third consecutive summer in American soil.

Something that started in 2017 where Barcelona played the International Champions Cup, last year they had friendly warm-up matches against Tottenham, AS Roma and AC Milan before facing Sevilla FC in the Spanish Super Cup.
