Christian Pulisic key for almost half of USA goals
The new Chelsea player has set himself as the leader of the United States national team by being directly involved in most of the American goals.
Gregg Berhalter's USMNT squad, earned its semifinal ticket with a lone goal from Weston McKennie, assisted by no other than Chelsea's new attacker, Christian Pulisic after a fantastic cross from the left side, becoming the best assister of the Gold Cup.
Pulisic wore the captain armband in the game against Curaçao, and gave his third assist of the tournament, in a match where the United States sweat to get the victory that will see them reach the semifinal round.
Christian Pulisic has been giving outstanding performances with the Stars and Stripes, was named man of the match in quarterfinals and has been directly involved in 18 of the last 39 goals of the US national team, getting a 46% prevalence in the last goals of the American team since making his debut back in 2016 against Guatemala.
Now against Jamaica, Pulisic will be once again the central piece of the United States offensive line, where he will seek to help his team reach the final to face the Mexican National Team on Sunday, while also setting himself as the best player of the US squad.
His first USMNT title quest
Christian Pulisic has been wearing the United States jersey for three years now; however, this Gold Cup the American forward is looking to win his first title with the national team, since he was not part of the 2017 Gold Cup, and in the 2016 century edition, the USMNT was knock out by Argentina.
