Kosovare Asllani confirms CD Tacón/Real Madrid move

Sweden and Linköpings FC striker Kosovare Asllani confirmed today that she will be playing next season in Spain's Liga Iberdrola with Madrid-based club, CD Tacón. The 29-year-old is CD Tacon's  first reinforcement ahead of the 2019/20 season - their first in the top flight. She is a vastly experienced player who spent four seasons at PSG and won the Women's Super League and FA Women's Cup with Manchester City. She  joins on a free transfer after being released from her contract with Linköpings.

The club, which is based in the Hortaleza district of Madrid, gained promotion to the Liga Iberdrola at the third attempt in May. CD Tacon are set to be absorbed by Real Madrid who finally are ready to create their own women's team following a 500,000 euro takeover. CD Tacon will officially become Real Madrid Femenino in 2010/21.

Excited to write history, to help build and be part of this teams journey from the very start. It’ll be a dream to wear the most beautiful jersey in the world starting next season. HALA MADRID".
