April 2025: Netflix new releases that no one can miss!
Netflix isn’t fooling around with the start of April. The streaming platform will be dropping a range of new movies and must-see shows throughout the month.
While spring may be showing its first signs that it’s here, if not already, begging you to go out and breathe in the fresh breezes, Netflix has other plans for you. The streaming platform will be dropping a new lineup of movies, TV series and original content that will entice you to stay in despite your urge to get out of the house.
Coming in 10 April, fans of ‘Black Mirror’ will once again have a chance to delve into six new episodes of this science fiction anthology series that looks at the darker side of our society as it adapts to every changing technology. As always, each stand-alone episode will feature star-studded casts.
Fans of ‘Yellowstone’ fare can check out ‘Ransom Canyon’, a contemporary western drama that takes place “the rugged expanse of Texas Hill Country.” The series featuring Josh Brolin will come out on 17 April.
For those that are looking for “pure soapy fun,” IndieWire recommends ‘Pulse’, available 3 April. They have it on good authority that it is binge-worthy calling it “a combination of ‘The Pitt’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ with a healthy dose of ‘Dexter’s’ issues with Miami weather.”
The final season of ‘You’ will drop on 24 April, as well as new episodes of the weekly live variety talk show ‘Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney’ starting 2 April. Anime fans will have the first seasons of The Apothecary Diaries and Devil May Cry to look forward to coming 1 and 3 April, respectively, as well as Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 - The Search for Laqua on the 25th.
