James the next situation to be solved once Bale deal is done

Zidane said that he "is only worried about the players who are here" when asked about James, who is reportedly back in Madrid to sort out his future.

The potential sale of Gareth Bale to China continues to grab the headlines and it has left another departure in the shadows: James Rodríguez. The Colombian is on the final stretch of his holidays after the Copa América (he returns on 29 July) but he is currently thinking about his situation and resolving his future as soon as possible.

James travelled to Madrid on Sunday according to Blu Radio in Colombia with the aim to get his move away from Real Madrid sorted. "He's not here, and I'm only worried about those that are," Zidane said when asked about the Colombian, which is a topic he usually tries to sidestep.

Zidane wants it solved too and there is interest from Atlético Madrid on the table. Napoli were keen to make a deal happen but wanted a loan, which is something Real Madrid absolutely don't want. Ancelotti said on Saturday, however, that "negotiations are still ongoing."

Real Madrid are willing to give James the necessary time to find a club willing to pay the money they believe he is worth. That also depends on whether or not an offer comes in for Isco. Provided that doesn't happen, however, after Bale, James is the next domino to fall though.
