Barcelona announce behind-the-scenes documentary details

Barcelona will release 'Matchday' documentary which gives fans a glimpse into their favourite players' lives. It will premier in November in Europe on Rakuten TV.

The series will consist of eight episodes centred on eight pivotal games during the season. It will be narrated by John Malkovich and will show footgae of Luis Suárez BBQ-ing, Piqué enjoying his free time together with his family; Ter Stegen designing his new house, and Ivan Rakitic cooking.

"Specifically, the series covers the game at the Camp Nou won 5-1 by Barça, as well as the Copa del Rey match at the Santiago Bernabéu that ended 0-3. However, the other side of the game is reflected in another episode, showing the disappointment after the Champions League game against Liverpool at Anfield and Barça's elimination from the competition."

They will also profile different people from around the world who have been involved in the club as fans such as a man from Russia, who follows them everywhere they go and a firefighter who lost his sight but continues to go to the Camp Nou for games.
