The respective presidents of South American football's governing body (Conmebol) and the Chilean government (Alejandro Domínguez and Sebastián Piñera) are set to meet next week to analysis the current situation in the country with Chile's capital Santiago earmarked to stage the final of the Copa Libertadores 2019.

The civil unrest in the South American nation shows little sign of abating with doubts beginning to overshadow the possibility of the November 23 final going ahead in the capital city where Argentina's River Plate will face Brazilian outfit Flamengo.

At present Conmebol are pressing ahead with planning for the November 23 final with a 12,500 ticket allocation (per club) for the final now available for both representing clubs already on sale via  River and Fla' outlets.
