Ansu Fati becomes youngest ever Champions League goal scorer
The Barcelona forward came off the bench to break Inter's hearts with a goal in the 86th minute.
Rising Barcelona star Ansu Fati became the youngest ever scorer in the Champions League at 17 years and 40 days, when he beat Inter Milan keeper Handanovic from distance to make it 1-2 to Barcelona in the 86th minute of Tuesday evening's Champions League match in Milan. Ansu Fati was born on 31 October 2002.
Ansu Fati's goal destroyed Inter's faint hopes of a comeback that would have given them the chance of a place in the last 16 in the Champions League.

In his first season with the Barcelona first team Ansu Fati has now played for 413 minutes, scored three goals and set up one.
Ansu Fati takes Peter Ofori-Quaye's record
The previous youngest goal scorer in the Champions League was Peter Ofori-Quaye, who scored for Olympiacos when 17 years and 195 days old.
European Cup youngest scorer
Ansu Fati is not, however, the youngest scorer in the entire history of the tournament. That honour goes to Włodzimierz Lubański of Polish club Górnik Zabrze who was just 16 years and 258 days old when he notched against FK Dukla Prague on 13 November 1963 in the first leg of the first round of the tournament. Górnik Zabrze won 2-0 that night, but crashed out in the second leg, losing 4-1.
