Sevilla travel to Madrid on Saturday afternoon to play at the Santiago Bernabéu as they sit fourth in LaLiga. Joan Jordan has spoken to AS and says Julen Lopetegui's high-energy side will travel to the capital to "compete like animals."

"They have an incredible level of talent and it will be nice to face them," he said about playing Real Madrid. "I am convinced we will go there and fight like animals, that we will go for them and that we will fight for the win."

"In every stage of my career, I've had the ideal manager," said Jordan about working with Lopetegui. "Mendilibar came to me at a vital moment and now I think Lopetegui is the same. He demands we have the ball a lot and all of this helps me. I come from a very distinct type of football and to be with Julen, it will make me a much more complete player."

Jordan moved to Sevilla from Eibar in the summer and has settled in well at the club becoming on of Lopetegui's most important midfielders. "I am very happy with how it has gone from the first day," he said. "I am in the finest moment of my life at a personal level and it is the right moment to start making steps forward in my play. I am in a perfect place to do that."

"The confidence in the group is total," he said about Sevilla's lack of goals. "The important thing is the work done by the group, that we create chances and we know that the dynamic will change. the goals will come. I'm not hiding that it's something we have to improve but I am convinced that the goals will come."
