Ianis Hagi (son of the legendary Gheorghe Hagi) joins Rangers on loan from Belgian side Genk and will work under Steven Gerrard through to June 30 (2020) with the Glasgow based side then having an exclusive option to purchase the Romanian.

FC Barcelona announce the acquisition of Portugal U-21 striker Francisco Trincão. The player will leave Braga at the end of the current campaign. The Catalan club will pay 31M euro for his services as part of the five-year deal.

Left-back Sam McCallum joins Norwich City but will spend the rest of the 2019-20 campaign back on loan at Coventry City.

Activity too this morning in Scotland, as Hearts bring in Marcel Langer (from Schalke 04) through to June 30 as they bid to avoid the drop from the top flight.

Carrasco

This is Yannick Carrasco training this morning at the Majadahonda Atleti complex despite the move back to the club not being 100% completed. With the Cavani deal looking more and more complex, Atlético are poised to bring back the Belgian (currently in the CSL with Dalian Yifang) back to the club as an alternative.

Rafa Soares (SD Eibar)

In LaLiga, Basque side SD Eibar confirm that Portugal U-21 left back Rafa Soares will join the Basque outfit on loan through to June 2021 from parent club Vitoria SC

Arsenal confirm loan acquisition of Cedric Soares with the Portuguese international out of contract at Southampton on June 30th.

Regarding the Gareth Bale back to Spurs speculation, in his Friday a.m press conference, Zidane reaffirmed that Bale was going nowhere claiming:

"Gareth is here with us and I am counting on him. I am not contemplating the possibility of him leaving"

Spanish teenager Bryan Gil moves on loan to Leganes from Sevilla through to June 30 (2020).

FCB

Despite the names of Richarilison, Rodrigo and now Willian Jose being linked with FC Barcelona as potential Luis Suarez replacements, Institutional Relations manager at the club Guillermo Amor stated last night be no new forward incoming at the club on the final day of the window.

Fernandes

As FC Barcelona desperately scour the market for a striker to replace long term injury hit Luis Suarez, the club are also poised to sign Palmeiras midfielder Matheus Fernandes. The Brazilian is due to arrive at the club today and expected to sign a five-year contract with the LaLiga giants.

Yannick Carrasco

With the Cavani deal looking more and more complex, Atlético are considering bringing Yannick Carrasco (currently in the CSL with Dalian Yifang) back to the club as an alternative.

Could we see a deadline day bombshell with 'well connected' Matt Lawton from The Times reporting that Spurs are confident they can bring Real Madrid striker Gareth Bale back to North London !

Cavani

Will there be a final twist in the Edinson Cavani saga? PSG still holding out after Atleti increased their bid for the striker from 15 to 18 million euro. Still no budging from the Ligue 1 side with the Uruguayan set to become a free agent come June 30.

The big move in LaLiga on Thursday was the acquisition of striker Paco Alcacer where the striker swaps the yellow of Dortmund for that of Villarreal.

There are a few exceptions in Europe with Portugal closing on Feb. 2. Austria Feb 6, Serbia 7th and Switzerland on Feb. 17th.

In the bulk of major European nations-leagues (Spain, France, Germany, UK, Italy ...) the window closes at midnight CET. The Scottish Premier League closes one hour later (01:00 CET on Feb. 1st).

During the day and right up to closing time, we'll bring you all the big moves as club's across the continent make last minute bids and offers in the final chance of the season to bolster squads.

A very warm Friday welcome to you all as we prepare for a busy day with the winter window closing tonight.
