Erling Haaland thrilled with Michu signed shirt gift: "Wow what a legend!"
The Borussia Dortmund striker, who idolised the Spanish forward during his time at Swansea, was delighted with the gift: "Streets will never forget".
Erling Haaland's meteoric rise in European football has been one of the success stories of the season and the played underlined his arrival with a couple of goals against Paris-Saint Germain last week. However, unlike other young striker, his reference point isn't typical - it's not Cristiano Ronaldo, or Messi, or Ronaldo Nazário... It's Michu. Michu, who is now Director Sport at Burgos, had the generous idea of sending Haaland a signed shirt from his current club, emablazoned on the back with the Dortmund star's name and number 17.

Haaland was clearly delighted with the gift from his boyhood hero and took to social media to thank Michu, who he would meticulously study when the Spanish forward was playing in England with Swansea. "Wow, what a legend!!", Haaland wrote on Twitter with the hashtag: #Nice2Michu..
Haaland shared some of Michu's stats from the 2012-13 season in which he scored 22 goals and won the League Cup, writing: "Streets will never forget". .
Last week, ahead of the Dortmund-PSG game, Michu spoke about Haaland in an interview with AS. "It's an honour that he was influenced by me. He's an amazing player. I think he's going to become a world super star. And of course he's a much better player than I was!".
