Aspetar provides medical support at the Qatar Open 2020
As part of its on-going partnership with the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF), Aspetar is once again providing world-class medical services at the WTA Qatar Open 2020.

Doha based leading specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital Aspetar will offer medical services for the participants of the Qatar 2020 Open tennis championship. The initiative come about after an agreement between the Qatari Tennis and Squash Federation headed by Paris Saint-Germain club president Nasser al-Khelaifi.

According to the agreement, Aspetar's team of doctors will be present at the Hammad Tennis and Squash complex through to next Saturday for the championship which is set to feature many highly decorated stars of game.
Aspetar also offers the possibility of treatment at the hospital facilities and this was a service availed of by Tunisian player Ons Jabeur with the player praising the medical care she received in Aspetar.
The tournament will feature the likes of Ashley Barty, with the Australian player currently leading the world ranking. American Sofía Sofía Kennin and Czech Karolina Plaskova along with compatriot Petra Kvitova are other stars to play in the Doha tournament with Romanian player Simona Halep announcing her retirement from the championship ahead of the start date due her start due to an injury.
The total prize money for the Qatar 2020 Open is over three million dollars and the WTA 500 event has been held in Qatar since 2001.
