Liverpool could be crowned champions on Saturday - without even playing
Jürgen Klopp's team's next game is the Merseyside derby on 16 March but before that, Manchester City have two decisive Premier League games.
Liverpool are enjoying a season to remember. Jürgen Klopp's team top the Premier League after having dropped points in just two games - a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford back in October and more recently, a 3-0 defeat away at Watford - a result which ended the Reds' run of 44 games unbeaten in the English top flight.

Just two slips in a remarkable campaign in which Klopp's troops could even be crowned champions this weekend without having to kick a ball. As it stands, they top the table on 82 points from 29 games, while Manchester City's 2-0 defeat to United in the weekend derby leaves Guardiola's side on 57 points with a game in hand - against Arsenal, which will be played on Wednesday. The massive difference in points means that if City lose against Arsenal and suffered another defeat in the following game (against Burnley on Saturday), they will be unable to catch Liverpool who will be crowned Premier League champions.
Liverpool could toast league title at Goodison, Anfield or the Etihad
The Reds are next in action on Monday 16 March - against Everton in the Merseyside derby but could win the Premier League before that, with nine games left to play. If they will all of their remaining matches they would end the season on 109 points - which would be a new English record. The league title is done and dusted for Liverpool, whose main focus is on Wednesday's Champions League Last 16 return leg against Atlético Madrid.
City however, don't usually lose three games in a row and while many Reds would love nothing better than to be crowned champions at Goodison (Everton fans' worst nightmare) , celebrations might have to wait until the following game (at home to Crystal Palace) or the one after that, away to City...
Manchester United hold the record for cliniching the Premier League the earliest - they did so with a 4-2 win against Coventry on 14 April 2001, with five games to go.
