Guardiola donates €1 million to fight against coronavirus
The money will go to Angel Soler Daniel foundation and will be used to make medical equipment as Pep works also to find a vaccine for coronavirus.
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has donated €1 million for medical supplies and materials during the coronavirus pandemic according to EFE.
Pep's donation will also go towards the production, including 3-D printing of, ventilators and various other hospital equipment.
The €1 million will be added to the €33,000 collected by the hospital in a fund-raising effort by the hospital, which started on 21 March. The equipment, once ready, will be distributed to hispitals around Catalonia depending on need.
EFE also understand that Guardiola is also heloing with the search for medicine that can impede the transmission of the illness and a vaccine that will stop the virus. He is working with doctor Bonaventura Clotet and researcher Oriol Mitjà.
