Trader Joe’s most viral product is back for Easter: Here’s how to get one before it’s gone

Trader Joe’s have relaunched a product that proved so popular last year, it instantly went viral and is flying off the shelves again. On Tuesday, the grocery chain announced the return of their limited edition mini tote bags, a ‘mini-me’ version of the classic reusable canvas shopping bags.

The mini tote bags are made of canvas with polyester handles and are available in four pastel shades: cyan, pink, lilac and green, retailing for just $2.99.

In the 24 hours since going on sale, there has already been a huge scramble - not just to acquire one bag, but the complete collection of four. Single tote bags are now listed on Ebay for several times the original price with a full set of four ranging from $90-$180.

The mini-tote bags first went on sale in March last year and were an instant hit - completely selling out within days. Much of their success was down to a series of viral TikTok videos in which users gushed over how handy and versatile the bags were + perfect for picnics or shopping errands.

Demand has surged again with queues forming outside some stores. Trader Joe’s remind customers that stocks are limited and availability will depend on each individual store.

“If customers have any questions about product availability, they can ask any Crew Member in their neighborhood store,” a company spokesperson told USA Today.

The Trader Joe’s mini-totes are back, but like last year, they’re selling fast so hurry to get yours while you can!
