Liga MX has more expensive transfers to Europe than MLS

In the last five years, the Liga MX has made more expensive transfers to European team’s than Major League Soccer. The news broke after Chivas’ striker ‘JJ’ Macías said that the clubs in Mexico want too much money for their players and that is why it is hard to have an opportunity on the European continent.

While the clubs in Major League Soccer want their players to move on to Europe and they facilitate the transfers when a club is interested in a particular player, Macías added that teams in Mexico want at least $15 million for their players and MLS team’s ask as low as half a million.
