CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Zamalek vs Raja Casablanca: how and where to watch - times, tv, online

All the information you need on how to watch the CAF Champions League semi-final return leg between Zamalek and Raja Casablanca on Wednesday 4 November, 2020.

Update:
Zamalek v Raja Casablanca

At the third attempt, Zamalek and Raja Casablanca will finally go head-to-head in Cairo - a match that was postponed by CAF on two occasions given the high number of Covid-19 positive player within the Raja ranks. This semi-final will be broadcast in the United States and Puerto Rico live via the Fanatiz platform.

The Raja Casablanca expedition finally flew into the Egyptian capital on Monday evening with all of their available players for the return leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final.

Raja's camp had been affected by several Covid-19 infections for more than a week which was the main reason for postponing the game twice. The latest round of PCR testing did deliver negative test results and the bulk of the regular first team squad could join the expedition that headed to Cairo.

Raja's four non-Moroccan players Fabrice Ngah, Sanad Al Ouarfali, Fabrice Ngoma, and Ben Malango are all part of the group in addition to Mahmoud Benhalib who was the last player to recover from the virus.

However, goalkeeper Anas Zniti, as well as the two defenders Mohamed Douik and Abdeljalil Jbira failed to join the squad following positive coronavirus tests prompting Raja boss Jamal Sellami to call up a handful of younger players names from his reserve list.

Delay favouring Zamalek

Zamalek are ahead in the tie, thanks to a 0-1 first leg win in Morocco and are firm favourites to stake a place in the now scheduled for late November final where Al Ahly await the victors.

The delay in staging the second leg has favoured the Cairo outfit with the likes of Mahmoud Hamdy Al-Wensh back in training following his knock in the league game against Ismaily SC. Mahmoud Alaa and Hazem Imam are also expected to be available for selection.
