Manchester City vs Liverpool: Guardiola and the US Elections
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola compared the Premier League campaign to the US Presidential Elections as he discussed the game against Liverpool.
Update:
Manchester City play Liverpool on Sunday, 8 November, at 17:30 CET in what is currently the biggest rivalry in the Premier League, the two teams finishing first and second in the past two season, though with different respective winners.
Pep Guardiola was asked in his press conference if it was a must-win game for his side. He used the analogy of the American presidential elections to point out that a season may in fact consist of 38 games.
