Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Díaz, who is currently on loan at AC Milan, gave an interview with Spanish broadcaster #NoticiasVamos in which he discussed Zinedine Zidane, the pressure of playing at the Bernabéu, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic: “He’s my dad’s age but he still decides games.”

"I was happy at Real Madrid but I'm getting games here"

AC Milan: “I’m getting playing time here. I was happy at Madrid but now I’m able to play my football and show what I can provide. It’s a lot easier here because I love football. I’m focused on Milan and I’m going to give everything I’ve got here. I’m really happy to be in Italy and I’ve settled in really quickly. We are leading Serie A, we have a competitive team, we’re in great form and we have to continue in the same way.”

Real Madrid: “I have no doubts over my teammates at Madrid, they will achieve their objectives, because of the players, the staff and the club. It’s a huge club. There is a winning mentality there and they show that year after year.”

Zidane: “We have a mutual affection for each other. The relationship between us is very good. Now I’m at Milan and playing every three days we don’t have as much contact but I get the occasional text. People are always questioning Zidane but he always comes through as a manager and a person.”

Youth players at Madrid: “Every case is different. We need playing time and if we’re not getting it then we leave to look for it. You enjoy it more when you’re playing and that’s what I’m doing now.”

"Zlatan always demands more and you always improve"

Cristiano and Zlatan match-up: “They’ll need 50 cameras to cover it. They are two phenomenal players but we haver to focus on the next game. That will come later.”

Ibrahimovic: “He’s my dad’s age but he still decides games. In football age doesn’t matter and he is proving that. We get along really well; he gives me good advice and we have a good understanding. He’s a winner. He’s not happy just to coast. You always have to work harder with him. He always tells me: ‘You haven’t finished yet, now you have to do sit-ups with me.’ He demands a lot from you, and you always improve.”
