Ancelotti addresses Isco's situation at Real Madrid
Isco has announced his intention to leave Real Madrid and could follow in the footsteps of James Rodríguez, who has been reborn at Everton under the Italian.
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about Isco's situation at Real Madrid after the Spain international expressed his intention to leave having fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabéu under Zinedine Zidane.
Ancelotti, who was manager at the Bernabéu between 2013 and 2015, is a firm admirer of the playmaker and has had recent success dipping into his previous pool of talent when he brought Colombia international James Rodríguez to Goodison Park where the midfielder, who also struggled to convince Zidane of his first-team merits, has been a resounding success.
However, Ancelotti was quick to dampen speculation about an imminent move for Isco, although the prospect of the Spain midfielder linking up at the Toffees with James will have Everton fans dreaming of a January scoop.
